"ICU" by Kan
ICU
by Kan (Link)
Author’s note: Language is only understood when its vocabulary is
shared and the meaning of words consistent. This is a poem written in
the language of ICU. The distinct vocabulary from ICU culture, such as
‘gakki’ and ‘bakayama’, is used to celebrate the flexibility of
language.

Kan,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your piece and I thought is was a very smart idea, combining the ICU language in a poem.
If I read it in the future, when I have already graduated, it will definitely remind me of great memories at ICU.
It is definitely unique and something that only ICU students and staff will be able to appreciate. Very creative!
