What is "good" writing? Our brainstorming of characteristics.

  • Every word has a spirit.
  • It makes people think or feel something.
  • It is a simple as possible.
  • But it is descriptive with details.
  • It has a structure that helps the reader understand it.
  • It is understandable for the intended audience.
  • It has a clear theme or focus.
  • The title reflects the theme and gets the attention of the reader.
  • It reflects the author's personality (It has a voice)
  • It is the result of internal dialogue.
